Students in the last year of Master Program “Geography in Regional Development” at Presov University completed the course “Regional Development and Governance – practical application, which was prepared and delivered by CDI in the academic year 2011/12.is an independent, professional, non-profit organization of the "think-tank" type, inspiring and enforcing comprehensive environmental, social and economic development of regions and municipalities. Our mission is to promote systematic changes in favour of sustainable development of territories through the formation of an ideologically independent and critical intellectual environment.
We are a research and advisory centre in this field providing analyses of the potential and opportunities for development, as well as professional development studies and scenarios. We also process comprehensive plans for economic and social development and sectoral strategies, we prepare and manage projects and provide training in our areas of activities.
